Remember staring at a page of colored noise until a dolphin floated out of it? Stareo hides your words in there. Type a few words and they become a hidden 3D image only your eyes can decode. Send it, and let them find it, with a one-tap reveal for friends who can't see it.

How it works

Stareo lays your message out at a size that stays readable once hidden, checks it as you type and tells you when it's too long, then renders the stereogram on your phone in about a second. Adjust the pop-out and pattern size, choose a pattern and colors (all ten patterns and every palette come with Stareo Unlock), and share the puzzle first and the answer loop after. Making and sending secret messages is free.

Got a stereogram you can't make out? Pick it from your photos and Stareo shows what's hidden inside. Free, and it works on any stereogram, not just ones made in Stareo.

Private by construction

Everything you make runs on your iPhone, and your messages and stereograms never leave it. No accounts, no ads. Anonymous usage and crash reporting can be switched off in Settings, and is off until you allow it in the EU, the UK and Switzerland.
